PARTNERING WITH OCEAN INSTITUTE

Support Ocean Institute through your business as a Community Partner, a Corporate Partner, or through our Associate Board of Directors, and receive recognition through our website and around our campus!

Community Partner Circle

Introducing our newly redesigned Community Partners Circle (CPC)

Becoming a Community Partner Circle Member at Ocean Institute means you are helping support the next generation of scientific leaders, researchers, and stewards of our planet. Funds donated to Ocean Institute go to supporting our world-class educational programs as well as the outreach programs Ocean Institute commits to, such as our Adopt-A-Class Program, that are geared to eliminate the financial barriers students may have in attending our programs. Your support encourages the inspiration of children and their families to act in stewardship, so our planet regains a healthy balance.

In appreciation, we have a plethora of opportunities where we want you and your company to become involved. All Community Partner Circle members will be placed on a CPC-Specific newsletter, where you will be the first to hear about sponsor opportunities and to receive early access to programs, festivals, VIP events, and more.

Please contact kdavidson@oceaninstitute.org to customize the right donor pathway for you.

Partnering for a Sustainable Future: SCWD & Ocean Institute

South Coast Water District (SCWD) is proud to partner with the Ocean Institute on the Estuary Exploration Exhibit, an interactive educational experience that connects SCWD’s mission of delivering clean, reliable water with the importance of protecting coastal ecosystems. Visitors will learn where our water comes from, why conservation matters, and how desalination can help ensure a sustainable future – all tied to the protection and sustainability of estuary environments. As part of this collaboration, SCWD is also sponsoring student participation in the Adopt-a-Class program, expanding access to hands-on marine science experiences for elementary students within our service area. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to sustainability, education, and maximizing community impact through environmental stewardship.

Collaboration with Ocean Wishes Foundation and Kids Sea Camp

Ocean Institute is excited to partner with Ocean Wishes Foundation, a non-profit organization that promotes education and fosters the protection and preservation of our marine environments, and Kids Sea Camp, who specializes in family dive travel and training. This partnership enables Ocean Institute to expand our accessibility even further and immerse students in our underwater world. With a large receipt of diving gear, along with sponsored certification courses, we are further able to embody our mission, Experience is the teacher. Ocean Wishes has supported women scuba divers all over the world, elevating those with a passion for the ocean through their Women Scholarships for the Ocean. Since 2007, Ocean Wishes has helped fund over 30 young researchers, scientists, and ocean advocates. Kids Sea Camp has issued over 8,000 diving certifications since starting in 2000. 25 years later, founders of Ocean Wishes and Kids Sea Camp, Margo and Tom Peyton, have instilled a passion for our underwater world in many lives globally.
